Ethical Guidelines - Authors

- Check the journal's focus, scope, and guidelines before submitting the article (cf. Flowchart);

- Ensure that the manuscript is original, that it is not a translation of an international publication, that it has not been published in other media and that it presents significant contributions and approaches to the field of education (cf. Flowchart);

- Do not submit the article simultaneously to another journal;

- Carefully choose one of the two types of submission that the journal offers: continuous flow or thematic call. Both modalities follow the same evaluation process. If the author chooses the thematic theme, they must observe, in addition to the general guidelines of the journal, the structure of the proposal to make sure that the article meets the specifications;

- Pay attention to the rules of the Research Ethics Committee of the institution to which the research presented in the article is linked, when dealing with the involvement of human beings/animals. In this regard, the author must indicate the number of the Ethics Committee protocol. The author must pay attention to the COPE Code of Conduct (Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors - COPE);

- In the case of research with funding, the authors must inform, in a footnote at the beginning of the text, the source of funding, process number (Governmental Development Agencies), and protocol number (Private Institutions). The text should not contain dedications or acknowledgments;

- Revise the text so that it does not present expressions, excerpts, or information without proper reference and that may constitute plagiarism; duplicate, redundant, or self-plagiarism; abuse of authorship (ghost author, guest); biased or selective reporting of references and citations; fabrication of data (eg, inventing numbers or interviews); falsification of data; and image manipulation (every image must have its source references informed below);

- Assign authorship to those who contributed significantly to the design and development of the article, limited to four authors. The order of authorship must be explained in a supplementary document to the editors, signed by all authors, at the time of submission, in which the role of each one in the realization of the study is evidenced;

- Inform the editors, through the journal's system, of the need to adjust or correct any inaccuracies detected after submission and before publication. The submission will be withdrawn so that it can be performed again by the author after the changes are made;

- After publication, if the author observes the need for changes to the article, the author must inform the editors by the official e-mail of the Journal; and

- Inform ORCID number and institutional affiliation.
