Abstract

In this article, we present novel correlation coefficients for measuring the relationship between two fuzzy sets. Here we put forward mathematical models to determine the evolutionary relationships between SARS-CoV \& SARS-CoV-2 and five other commonly known corona viruses in human which includes MERS-CoV, HCoV-OC43, HCoV-229E, HCoV-NL63 and HCoV-HKU1 and two bat corona viruses (RsSHC014 and RaTG13) with special emphasis on their correlation. The work can be considered as a pioneer in the field of application of fuzzy set theory in the study of this zoonsis.
