CLAVES HISTÓRICAS DEL RÉGIMEN POLÍTICO EN PARAGUAY. LÓPEZ Y STROESSNER
Resumo
Este artigo busca identificar as políticas inauguradas com a Guerra da Tríplice Aliança y recuperadas durante as décadas de 1940 e 1950 perante a impossibilidade da constituição de um regime liberal democrático e pelas limitações do regime econômico, originadas nas conseqüências da Grande Guerra. Neste sentido, aqui são analisadas as modificações do Estado y da Nação desde os começos da República Independente, passando pela ditadura de Stroessner até chegar ao atual processo de transição à democracia política, em linhas de longa duração. A principal hipótese deste artigo é ver como a constituição de um Estado e a invenção de uma Nação – ao ritmo da Guerra da Tríplice Aliança - favoreceram um conjunto de representações e imagens políticas que resultaram de suma eficácia para a ditadura stronista e sobre as quais é possível encontrar as chaves que explicam os problemas estruturais e políticos atuais da democracia. Abstract. This article aims at tracking the political traditions inaugurated with the Triple Alianza war, reinvigorated in the 1940s and 1950s with the impossibility of constitution of a liberal democratic regime but also with the limitations of the economic regime, which had been created as a result of the Guerra Grande. In this sense, the article develops and shows, in a long term perspective, the changes in the State and the Nation from the beginning of the Independent Republic, to Stroessner’s dictatorship and to the current constitution of a State and the invention of a Nation accompanied by the always possible Triple Alianza war, fostered a lot of representations and political images that, being available and with the Guerra del Chaco, resulted of major efficacy to the stronista dictatorship and which can give explicatory keys of structural and political problems of the present democracy.Downloads
