ANOTAÇÕES SOBRE CULTURA E NATUREZA NOS PANTANAIS
Abstract
Resumo. O conteúdo deste artigo apresenta algumas observações a respeito das relações cultura versus natureza no Pantanal sul-mato-grossense. Recorrendo a fontes orais enquanto base informativa, procuro discutir alguns aspectos que relacionam a cultura pantaneira e a natureza local, enfatizando marcadores dessa cultura como a oralidade. Abordo ainda a construção da representação construída a partir da imagem do Pantanal enquanto paraíso. Abstract. The content of the present article presents some observations about the culture versus nature relationship at Pantanal (a swamp area) located in the State South Mato Grosso, Brazil. Using oral resources as an informative base, I try to discuss some aspects which relate Pantanal culture and local nature, emphasizing markers of such culture, such as oral history/oral tradition. I also approach the representation construction based on the image of Pantanal as paradise.Downloads
