URBAN MARINGÁ AGGLOMERATE: SCHOOL MOBILITY AND SOCIO-SPATIAL RELATIONS
Abstract
The school mobility studies imply a joint with different orders of mobility that, together, configure the conception of Human Mobility. This study analyzes the school mobility flow of the Maringá Urban Agglomerate, its articulation with the main Educational Public Policies. Thus, the empirical data were collected through semi-directional questionnaire and interviews. It is considered that the main stimuli to school mobility are the Educational Public Policies that provide the entry of youth and adults in the higher education network. These policies are aimed at public or private higher education institutions, with a view to regional development. This allows us to conclude that School Mobility is the result of socio-spatial relations.
