PUBLIC POLICIES AND THE MANAGEMENT OF MOBILITY OF TRECHEIROS IN SMALL CITIES
Abstract
Human dislocations to small cities in recent decades have brought new forms of action and management to many population groups, especially after the emergence of cities policies. The homeless and “trecheiros” are among these people who demand the attention of social policies, especially social assistance. The management of mobility of these people living in transit It is usually done by segregating them in some city spaces or by continually moving them with some kind of road ticket. Therefore, public policies are oriented to produce a constant mobility, within urban or interurban space, of people living in a way different from the instituted.
