It was amid this emphasis on the environment, associated with sustainable development, that recyclable cooperatives began to notoriety. However, not all of them offer adequate working and environmental conditions for the development of the activities of their members. This article is structured in the sense of seeking to show how the quality of water and air consumed by workers in a recyclable cooperative in the city of Apucarana-PR behaves. The study, based on visits and sample collections, showed that that environment demands monitoring that aims to improve the air consumption of workers, as well as the quality of the water they ingest.
