Abstract

The aim of this article is to expand the notion of drift on various scales of perception. The Deriva/Transurbância – DT, on a broader scale, and the drift in the enclosure – DC, on a more restricted scale. The isolation of people, due to the pandemic, was what motivated us to work with the idea of drift in the enclosure– DC. For that, we analyze the work of Guy Debord, Francesco Careri, Merlin Coverley, Edwin Valentine Mitchell, Anselmo Peres Aló, E ORLANDI, among others. Drift was observed as the guiding principle of the analysis of the Man/Nature relationship. Reflection on creative human powers, on different physical scales. This is a preliminary review on this topic. Finally, “discourse analysis” is presented for the objective and subjective interpretation of drifts. The basis for the development of this work was the extension course “Human mobility and its routes” taught at the Department of Geography at the State University of Maringá. From meetings with the group of students, the idea of drift in the enclosure– DC emerged, due to the isolation imposed by the pandemic, we seek to expand the possibility of “navigating” in restricted spaces in a creative and healthy way.
