THE PROFANACTORY FUNCTION OF PSYCHOANALYSIS AND ART

Abstract

This work is a reflection aboutthe relationship between the "devices" of current capitalism (Agamben,2009) and its effects of anguish, impeding of the constitution of singular and desiring subjects, pointing the psychoanalysis and the art like places of "desecration" of these devices, because of the emphasis which gives the uniqueness and the creation.Lacan, in The Seminar, book 10: The anguish (1962-1963) indicates that we can establish relationships between the manifestations of anguish and socio-historical fluctuations. In other words,says it’s possiblerealize that the nature of this form of psychological distress is linked to the impacts of social normativity devices on the constitution of the subject. Nowadays, the author says, "the infinite spaces paled behind little letters", referring to the effects of the relationship between capitalism and modern science that today produces forms of anguish characterized by the feeling of loss of reference horizons, by suffering without address, without Other, that depicts very much the place of the subject in the current situation where the anguish is registered with new words: stress, panic, trauma, pressure or depression. Uneasinesswhich shows the homogenization, the prison cliches, that promote the inability to narrate and to appoint, to say as a desiring subjects,who is exiled from his subjectivity.
