Orienteering as pedagogical component
Abstract
Orienteering (EO) stands out for its pedagogical and formative potential, as it includes physical, cognitive and social aspects that contribute to the integral formation of students. It reproduces or recreate in the school context can be a factual experience of transformation and stimulus to student protagonism actions. The objective of the present study is to indicate the possibilities of inserting EO in school units, in all years of basic education teaching, presenting it as a model of educational sport. This is a descriptive study with a propositional characteristic. We sought to present the specificities of this sport, based on relational perspective of Pierre Bourdieu, on analytical model of Wanderley Marchi Junior's 5E's and on document analysis of the Base Nacional Comum Curricular, emphasized a pedagogically rich content that could to be included in the Physical Education.
