<b>Lisianthus production (<em>Eustoma grandiflorum</em> Shinn.) in pot under different plants densities</b> - DOI: 10.4025/actasciagron.v27i2.1709
Abstract
Over the last few years the flower consumer market has showed great interest in lisianthus. Differently, there is not so much scientific and technical information about lisianthus crop, especially the one concerning its growth and management in tropical regions. The objective of this work was to evaluate five lisianthus cultivars in different plants densities in pot of three liters. The cultivars Echo Champagne, Echo Pink, Mariachi Pure White, Ávila Blue Rim and Balboa Yellow were evaluated in density of three, four and five plants per pot. The experiment was carried out in a completely randomized design with three replications in a 5x3 factorial scheme. The density of three plants provided larger number of flowers and leaves compared to the other densities. The density of three plants per pot is the most recommended for the growth of lisianthus. Mariachi Pure White, Avila Blue Rim and Balboa Yellow cultivars showed good results of production.Downloads
