Abstract
The research was conducted in 1999, in Selvíria, state of Mato Grosso do Sul, objectifying evaluate the bean behavior, in relation of soil management, water depths and sidedressing nitrogen application. A randomized block with four repetitions was used. The treatments used were a combination of soil management, sidedressing nitrogen application and water depths. The evaluations were: dry matter, number of pods and grain/plant, number of grain/pod, weight of 100 grains and grain productivity. The water depths influenced sidedressing nitrogen application positively, causing increments in grain productivity in order of 38% and 74% in L2 (190mm) and L3 (230mm), respectively, in relation to L1 (128mm), for 90kg ha-1. Soil management with chisel ploughing and moldboard ploughing provided a similar behavior for productive characteristics, differing to harrowing, that had worst influence. Soil management didn’t interfere in common bean response to sidedressing nitrogen applicationDownloads
