Energetic demand requested by seeder for no-tillage, submitted to three operation speed
Abstract
This work aimed to evaluate the energetic demand requested by a seeder for no-tillage, submitted to three forward speeds in Haplotox Soil. The experiment had a completely random design, with three treatments (T1 = group tractor/seeder operating the speed of 4.2 km h-1; T2 = 5.2 km h-1 and T3 = 6.5 km h-1) and four replications. A 4 x 2 (TDA) tractor and a 9-line seeder (soybean) were used. The parameters evaluated were: motor rotation, medium and maximum draw bar pull, wheel drive slip, hourly consumption fuel, medium and maximum power and operational capacity. Speed effects were not observed for medium and maximum draw bar pull and for wheel drive slip. As expected, such effects were observed only for hourly consumption fuel, power (medium and maximum) and operational capacity. The data obtained showed that the tractor was overmeasured for the operation.Downloads
