Abstract
Surveys to determine the occurrence of insect populations associated to Malpighia glabra L. (Malpighiaceae) were conduced from August 1997 to December 1998, in Maringá region, Paraná State, Brazil. Insects were collected once every two weeks in 20 Barbados cherry plants located in a commercial orchard. Were observed Nezara viridula, Piezodorus guildinii, Euschistus heros, Thyanta spp., Dysdercus ruficolis, D. peruvianus, Leptoglossus zonatus, L. gonagra, Enchenopa gracilis, Toxoptera citricidus, Saissetia coffeae, S. oleae, Coccus viridis, Chrysomphalus ficus, Selenaspidus articulatus, Orthezia praelonga, Mahanarva fimbriolata, M. posticata, Dilobopterus costalimai, Oncometopia facialis, Chrysopa sp., Polistes sp., Diabrotica speciosa, Cerotoma sp., Lagria villosa, Cycloneda sanguinea, Ceratitis capitata, Anastrepha fraterculus e Euxesta spDownloads
