Influency of organic biostimulants and urea on leaf absortion of boron in cauliflower culture

Abstract

This experiment was carried out in a greenhouse of the Department of Agronomy of Universidade Estadual de Maringá, state of Paraná, Brazil, from August to October, 1999, using dark red podzol, to evaluate the effects of organomineral biostimulant and urea application on boron (B) absorption in foliate cauliflower, cv. Shiromaru II. The experimental design was completely randomized with four replications. Fertilization sprays were applied each ten days, starting just thirty days after seeding. The treatments used were: aminon-25, urea, microfol, aminon-25 + urea, aminon-25 + microfol, urea + microfol and control without any application. The level of B were evaluated through the leaves. There was no significant difference between the treatments not containing microfol, but among the microfol containing treatments aminon-25 + microfol showed the best foliar absorption level of B
