Abstract
The objective work was to evaluate the effect physical forms and feedings programs pre-starter phase in performance and carcass characteristics on broiler chicks. Two hundred eighty eight broiler chick, were a randomized arrangement 2x3, two physical forms (crumb and mash) and three feedings programs pre-starter (P1-100g/bird, P2-200g/bird and P3-300g/bird) with four replicate and 12 unit.In the phase from 1 to 7 days significant it had differences between the treatments for weight gain (WG) and feed conversion (FC). In the phases from 1 to 14, 1 to 21 and 1 to 28 days, the better results of feel intake (FI), crude protein (CP) and metabolizable energy (ME), were obtained the programs P1, to FC the P2 and P3; in the phase from 1 to 35 days there to FI. No significant difference were observed better treatments for IP, carcass characteristics and viability in all work phase. The diet pre-starter crumb provided improvement in the WG and FC in the period until 7 days.Downloads
