Testate amoebae composition (Protozoa-Rhizopoda) from two São Paulo State creeks, including new records for Brazil - DOI: 10.4025/actascibiolsci.v27i2.1319
Abstract
Twelve monthly samplings were collected in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo State, Brazil, with the purpose of evaluating the composition and the richness of the testate amoebae assemblage in two creeks. Despite the low richness observed (21 taxa), the results showed that eight taxa had not been recorded before in São Paulo State, which points out to the need of increasing the sampling effort in the state as well as the researchers qualification who should be able to identify such organisms. Difflugia corona ecornis and Difflugia lobostoma cornuta, constitute two new records for BrazilDownloads
