<b>Flora survey of <em>São Pedro’s</em> farm forest fragment in <em>Potirendaba</em> municipality, state of <em>São Paulo</em></b> - DOI: 10.4025/actascibiolsci.v25i1.2111
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to survey the study of a forest fragment of São Pedro´s farm (21º 02’ 34” S e 49º 22’38” W) with 3 ha, located in Potirendaba municipality in the northwest of São Paulo State. The flora was surveyed from January 1999 to January 2000. A number of 79 species was identified, distributed into 69 genera and 31 families. The families with the highest number of species were the Leguminosae (9), the Asteraceae (7), the Rubiaceae (7), the Bignoniaceae (6) and the Apocynaceae (5). The flora survey of trees and shrub species revealed the presence of 18 pioneer species, 16 early secondary, 18 late secondary and three uncharacterized species.
