Abstract

This article provides a description of current patient preparation and imaging techniques. The goal is to formalize and propose procedures to be used with patients, in order to obtain quality images. The results shows that the use of preview tested procedures to the application of FDG-18 represents a extra factor of safety and quality

Ralph Santos Oliveira, CNEN
Possui graduação em Farmácia Industrial pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (2002), mestrado em Tecnologias Energéticas e Nucleares pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2006) e mestrado em Vigilância Sanitária e Controle de Qualidade pela Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (2004). Atualmente é colaborador da The Cochrane Collaboration, membro da Comissão Permanente de Revisão da Farmacopeia Brasileira na subcomissão de Radiofarmácia, membro associado do Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa e analista pleno da Comissão Nacional de Energia Nuclear.
