Abstract
This work aims to analyse the cleaning staff’s perceptions of “Hospital Universitário de Maringá” (University Hospital from Maringá city) in relation to their experience at the hospital, involving their physical and mental health. This issue is considered to be extremely important to the mental health preservation of all working environment and specifically in the hospital scope. The methodology was descriptive exploitation and the data collection instrument was a questionnaire based on Pitta’s model (1990). The results show that there is a necessity of approaches that involve the issues pain and death. This procedure can provide good mental health condition for these workers.Downloads
