ZEROS OF HARMONIC TRINOMIAL WITH COMPLEX PARAMETER
Résumé
Much work has been done examining the similarities and dier-
ences between analytic and harmonic functions. Many familiar results for an-
alytic functions hold for complex-valued harmonic functions with only slight
modications. The harmonic analog of the Argument Principle for Analytic
Functions. In this paper, we study the number of zeros of harmonic trinomi-
als with complex coecients of the form q(z) = zn + azk - 1; a in C; n > k;
and gcd(n; k) = 1; we determine how the number of zeros depends on the
parameter a:
