Numerical Approximations of Abel's Integral Equations using Haar Wavelet

This study proposes a numerical technique for solving Abel’s integral equations through Haar wavelet approximations. The method transforms the original integral equation into an equivalent system of algebraic equations, facilitating accurate and efficient computations. Numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the method’s precision and wide applicability, while comparative analysis indicate its advantages relative to exact solutions.
