Comparative analysis of the potential and emergent environmental vulnerability of hidrographic basin of the Baiano river - Assis Chateaubriand/PR

Abstract

The aim of the research is to compare models of environmental vulnerability by integrated analysis of the environment. Different methodologies have been proposed for this exercise, which culminate in different forms of data modeling in order to verify which of these present a greater compliance with the stage of dynamic equilibrium/disequilibrium of the study areas a result. The area delimited to perform this research was the hydrographic basin of the Baiano river, located in Assis Chateaubriand municipal district, western region of Paraná state. Thus, the mapping of the susceptible areas to natural hazards or induced by the anthropic action was performed through the use of methodologies which seek to evaluate potential and emergent.  To this end, it was necessary to identify some physical characteristics (soils, climate, rocks, relief), use and soil occupancy of the drainage basin, synthesizing the information for the preparation of three maps of environmental vulnerability.  In other words, thematic map products that represent the important natural and socioeconomic environmental components for the planning of the land usage, for engineering projects, to support environmental planning and urban sites, as well as, to support future work.
