Abstract

This paper aims to elaborate the chart of land use potentialities of land use, in Mauá da Serra, Paraná State. Through the elaboration and adaptation of several thematic charts, like the hypsometric, clinographic, land use, geological and pedologic, it was possible to perform an integrated analysis of abiotic landscape elements and the elaboration of the chart of land use potentialities. Seven potential classes were defined: permanent preservation area, urban area, urban expansion area, temporary cultures area, permanent cultures area, reforestation area and pasture area.
