Abstract

This study aims to understand the elements that allowed control of the consumer market by industrial entrepreneurs in Jaguapitã-PR in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. In a comparative analysis of the industries of Jaguapitã-PR and the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre, one sees that product quality and efficiency of employees in the lines of letting from the manufacturers of billiard tables Jaguapitã-PR have been higher and crucial to acceptance of the product in shops. Among the mechanisms of strategic competition, called attention to the innovations and skills of the labor force, factors which have resulted in increasing or maintaining the profit margin for the Jaguapitã-PR industrial’s, as well as in the control of the consumer market.
