Abstract
This paper presents the changes soil and its relation with the landform of a toposequence located in Aratu basin creek in the town of Floraí / PR. The toposequence is located in the bay landscape of Floraí called Plateau High, where the slopes have gentle terraces towards the main drain. In this paper will emphasize the morphological description along the toposequence. Results showed that occur three major pedological transformation fronts: a) a high slope in which advances in soil on the side and remontantemente Bw, causing a thickening just below the horizon, b) the second in the average slope, prevailing mechanisms vertical e-illuviation on the side, and c) the third occurs in the lower slope where the PSAMENT moves laterally on the Ultisol. This process of destruction of the Ultisol giving rise to PSAMENT allows the appearance of layers, identified as remnants of the Bt horizon. On average slope in soil differs from the rest, because of the greater concentration of clay, and also to be seated directly on the rock. In this sector of the slope prior to a gentle plateau also appears larger amount of very fine sand and silt, well above the rest. This probably occurs because of the influence due to a lithological facie constituted by finer material Caiuá Training. Given the above, it is believed to occur differentiated processes of pedological evolution of the system along the slope, now prevailing pedogenesis now morphogenesis.Downloads
