Abstract
In the process of drafting the language of comics, the student is faced with a dynamic that he must build from the statement of the problem to its solution - it becomes the active element of all stages of the development of graphic communication and writing. Considering being a powerful educational tool in the classroom, it was developed an education project aimed to offer subsidies for guiding the geography teacher’s work at different levels of education. In the proposed activities, selected that would constitute the basic steps: knowledge of concepts, content domain, comparison, differentiation, comics and reflection. The activities were based on interdisciplinarity, to build expertise in teaching at the Geography Teaching Course of the State University of Maringa, by making use of the comics. The subject was the geographical area of the University campus. The issues were: the graphic and verbal cohesion of the proposal, the assembly sequence of the comics, the description of physical and human geographical area worked, matching the features of the landscape depicted in the real scene, the contextualization of history and, finally, the critical thinking and creativity, key features in teacher education.Downloads
