HISTÓRIA SOCIAL DA AGRICULTURA REVISITADA: FONTES E METODOLOGIA DE PESQUISA
Resumo
O texto procurou revisitar a obra clássica de Maria Yedda Linhares e Francisco Carlos Teixeira da Silva – História Social da Agricultura (1981) — discutindo, em linhas gerais, em que medida a produção historiográfica sobre o tema produzida nos últimos 25 anos incorporou as sugestões daqueles autores. Discutimos, ainda, a incorporação de novas fontes e a sua utilização à luz da abordagem thompsiana sobre o papel da justiça, do costume e das leis em sua relação com os movimentos sociais. Abstract. This paper attempted to revisit the classic work of Maria Yedda Linhares and Francisco Carlos Teixeira da Silva – Social History of Agriculture (1981) – by discussing, in general terms, how historiographical production on the subject, made in the last 25 years, incorporated the suggestions from those authors. We also discussed the incorporation of new sources and their use in light of Thompson’s approach on the role of justice, custom and laws regarding social movements.Downloads
