Da Escola Evangélica de Jataí ao Instituto Samuel Graham: resquícios de uma história (1942 – 1971)
Résumé
Este trabalho pauta-se na gênese de uma instituição protestante na cidade de Jataí - Goiás. O período compreende ao ano de fundação da escola, em 1942 e estende-se até 1971, ano em que foi implantado a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação nº 5692/71. Como metodologia, optou-se pela pesquisa qualitativa, de cunho documental, ancorada na análise de fontes que delineia o recorte cronológico. Assim, a pesquisa sobre os vinte e nove anos iniciais de funcionamento do Instituto Samuel Graham (1942 – 1971), possibilitou indicar algumas conclusões que servem de subsídios para o estudo da questão da Educação Protestante no Brasil. Abstract From the Evangelical School of Jataí to the Institute Samuel Graham: remmants of a history (1942-1971) This work is based on the genesis of a Protestant institution in the city of Jataí - Goiás. The period comprises the year the school was founded, in 1942, and extends until 1971, the year in which the Law of Guidelines and Bases of Education Number 5692/71 was implemented. As a methodology, we opted for the qualitative research anchored in the analysis of sources that delineates the chronological cut. Thus, the study on the initial twenty-nine years of operation of the Samuel Graham Institute (1942-1971) made it possible to point out some conclusions that serve as subsidies for the study of the Protestant Education in Brazil.Téléchargements
