O ENSINO DE HISTÓRIA DA AMÉRICA NO BRASIL
Resumen
Neste artigo procuramos apresentar um quadro geral sobre o ensino de História da América no Brasil ao longo do século XX, identificando os lugares por ele ocupados nos diferentes currículos escolares e os conteúdos então abordados. Procuramos caracterizar as conjunturas, tanto do ponto de vista político como educacional, em que se deram as várias reformas que ora excluíram a História da América dos programas, ora lhe deram destaque. Por fim, apontamos algumas dificuldades que enfrentam as mais recentes iniciativas em promover uma ampliação dos estudos históricos americanos. Abstract. A general chart on the teaching of History of America in Brazil in the 20th century is provided, identifying its role in various curriculums and the subject matters involved. In our research we have tried to characterize the structures from the political and the educational point of views in which reform that sometimes excluded and sometimes highlighted the History of America from educational programs. Finally, we have pointed out some issues that involve the broadening of American History studies.Descargas
