O recurso categorial à noção de estrutura, nas suas diversas relações, pode ser de validade metódica para a elaboração da explicação histórica mas não permite deduzir que a história mesma (como a suma de todos os atos humanos efetivamente praticados) se petrificasse numa numa estrutura (ou em mais de uma) mesmo se apenas discursiva.
