In this article, we explore the importance of decolonial thinking, highlighting the contributions of Enrique Dussel and how this represents a vital positioning for the liberation. It emphasizes the need to reclaim ancestral knowledge and historical struggles, promoting a plurality of understandings that challenge the hegemony of Eurocentric thought. Additionally, it argues that criticism alone is insufficient; it is essential to develop new proposals that address the challenges posed by reality. Dussel's work is mentioned as a key reference, underscoring the importance of dialogue among diverse traditions of thought.
