PATRIMÔNIO CULTURAL SUBAQUÁTICO DA HUMANIDADE: UM PATRIMÔNIO SEM FRONTEIRAS
Résumé
Este artigo pretende apresentar e discutir a problemática que envolve os sítios arqueológicos de naufrágios no Brasil, os principais representantes do patrimônio cultural subaquático da humanidade que estão ameaçados de destruição; bem como a Arqueologia Subaquática como especialização arqueológica e seu posicionamento político diante dessa grave situação que nos coloca na contramão do mundo. Abstract. Wreck sites, Brazil’s main underwater cultural heritage, now under threat, are discussed. Essay also studies Underwater Archaeology as an archaeological specialty and its political role when Brazil’s low interest in the subject is taken into account.Téléchargements
