INTERAÇÕES ENTRE MAO E OS GUARDAS VERMELHOS NA REVOLUÇÃO CULTURAL

Resumo. A Revolução Cultural foi o episodio mais espetacular na historia da China contemporânea. No centro desse drama estavam o Comandante vermelho o presidente Mao, e os guardas vermelhos- jovens lutadores da revolução. Os guardas vermelhos eram, majoritariamente, alunos do ensino médio e superior dos anos de 1966-1968. Nasceram pouco antes ou depois de 1949, desde a infância, foram instruídos para odiar a velha sociedade e adorar o partido e o presidente Mao. Sob estimulo de Mao, os jovens se organizaram em pequenos grupos dos guardas vermelhos, e o movimento logo se transformou num furacão político que arrastou toda a China e colocou a nação chinesa de ponta cabeça. A extensão dessa erupção de violência dos jovens guardas vermelhos contra os "inimigos de classe" e contra os "seguidores da via capitalista" sugerem a verdadeira profundidade da frustração que estava no centro da sociedade chinesa. Os jovens precisavam de pouco estimulo de Mao para rebelar contra aqueles que restringem suas vidas.A partir de janeiro de 1967 quando os operários de Xangai tomaram o poder da cidade, o movimento dos guardas vermelhos começou a minguar. Logo, pela vontade própria ou pela pressão política, os jovens saíram da cidade para a zona rural,para receber a "reeducação" dos camponeses, o que de fato transformou-os em exilados políticos. Abstract. The Cultural Revolution was the most spectacular event in the history of contemporary China. The Red Commander, president Mao, was in the center of the dramatic events and the Red Guards, young revolutionary fighters, were secondary and tertiary students during the 1966-1968 period. They were born before or after 1949 and since their younger years they had been instructed to hate the old society and love the Party and President Mao. Under his presidency the young people organized themselves in small groups of red guards and the movement turned out to be a political hurricane that swept around China and the Chinese nation. The extension of such violent eruption of the Red Guards against “class enemies” and against the “followers of the capitalist alternative” suggests the depth of frustration that inhabited the core of Chinese society. The young people needed only a slight stimulus from Mao to rebel against those who were restricting their lives. As from January 1967 when the Xangai workers took over the city’s administration, the Red Guards’ movement decreased. Through their own free will or through political pressure the young people went out of the city to the rural area so that they could be reeducated by the farmers. They became political exiles.
