Libero Battistelli e giustizia e libertà no Brasil: um aspecto da luta antifascista italiana na América do Sul

O presente artigo aborda a atuação do grupo antifascista italiano Giustizia e Libertà no Brasil entre 1929 e 1942, procurando compreender o processo pelo qual ele procurou inserir-se na coletividade italiana local e as razões do fracasso dessa inserção. O papel do importante antifascista italiano Libero Battistelli, que viveu no Brasil em boa parte do período, é especialmente enfocada. Abstract. The aim of this article is to analyze the action of the Italian antifascist movement Giustizia e Libertà in Brazil between 1929 and 1942, and understand the process of its insertion in the Italian immigrant community and the reasons for its failure.
