O “REPUBLICANISMO SOCIAL” NO BRASIL NA PASSAGEM DO IMPÉRIO À REPÚBLICA
Resumo
Resumo. Este artigo busca analisar a forma como se deu no Brasil a aproximação entre republicanos, socialistas e positivistas, no final do século XIX. Esta análise já tem sido desenvolvida, sobretudo em relação ao caso da França, que maior influência exerceu sobre intelectuais brasileiros do período. Resta, contudo, pensar de que forma tal influência se fez sentir no Brasil. Para tanto, o processo investigativo debruça-se sobre uma série de panfletos e artigos de jornais, sobretudo daqueles ligados ao movimento operário em gestação. Abstract. The approximation in Brazil between republicans, socialists and positivists at the end of the 19th century is analyzed. Analysis focuses on France as the country which exercised great influence on Brazilian intellectuals during the period. Discussion is further undertaken on the repercussion of the above on the rest of Brazil. Pamphlets and newspaper articles, especially linked to the incipient workers’ movement are investigated.Downloads
