WORK IN CLEARING AND ORGANIZATION OF PRODUCTION OF RURAL FAMILY

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to analyze the work on the farm and production organization of rural families in the central region of Rio Grande do Sul in this region, under the effects of modern agriculture, it turns out the dissonance between traditional and today's. On one side the productivity associated with technological advances and on the other, the inherited tradition, based on generational knowledge. Therefore, the remaining menial activities are those that require higher quality built, as is the case of tobacco production. The study identified the self-deprecation of agricultural work, placing them in an inferior position compared to the style of urban living. Work on the farm is commonly associated with expressions that evoke the hardship and stressful activity. The social division of labor between men and women in rural reflected in simplifying between economic and non-economic, fake complexity when the woman excels is rural activities. In general, the management of work in the fields is complex, reflecting the indivisibility between work and leisure, within the rural family as they are connected and interdependent.
