CHANGES IN THE URBAN LANDSCAPE FRANCISCO BELTRÃO / PR AND ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL IMPACT
Abstract
The article highlights the categories that are apparently separated from each other, but in fact are closely connected and interdependent, affecting social and environmental life in the urban environment, and also the fact of how these occupations landscape so poorly planned undermine and enhance such phenomena as falling slopes, landslides and mudslides, which contribute directly to the silting of rivers and increase the risk of flooding, referring specifically to change the landscape in the town of Francisco Beltran / PR. The transformations of the landscape in the city and the natural phenomena occurring are illustrated through the interpretation of various urban landscapes derived from images (of facts such as floods, landslides, unauthorized occupations ...), articles in newspapers and articles published, correlating them with quotations from authors who know the subject. It ends up focusing on the need for decisions and actions, preventive structural and non-structural, aiming to prevent or reduce this problem quite common in cities today.
