ANALYSIS OF SOCIAL FRAGMENTATION OH THE URBAN SPACE MARINGA (PR) WITH REGARD TO THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT AND URBAN SOCIAL

Abstract

This research aimed to identify the location of urban facilities and social Maringá relating it to the population density in the catchment area of the equipment to verify whether they meet the demand of the resident population. From the intersection of data from equipment of education, health and leisure with a population density Population Expansion Area (EDA) was possible to see if they are installed in the city in accordance with proper planning in relation to travel distance, the access roads and the supply meets the population satisfactorily. The methodology used also in Type Socio agenda, as a socioeconomic indicator, built on the Socio-occupational category (CAT's) with the occupancy data on the labor market of the demographic census. This assumption of analysis identifies the social profiles that form homogeneous areas within the city, in which the equipment is leased urban and social.
