Processes are triggered by a number of natural factors, however, can be leveraged by human action. In Brazil, the landslides of great magnitude, when occurring in the occupied areas, gain context of natural disasters, since, causing considerable damage socioeconomic, and sometimes with fatalities. The latter left a trail destruction and significant harm to the local population. In this context, this case study, based on query specific benchmark, cartographic material, and especially field analysis, is proposed to classify the event occurred on the coast of Paraná State, specifically in relief compartment called Serra da Prata, of appropriately, and demonstrate aspects related to changes caused by this phenomenon.
