COEXISTENCE BETWEEN PRODUCTION RURAL AND NATIVE FOREST: ALTERNATIVES TO STAY IN THE RURAL SPACES THE BASIS OF THE COOPERATIVE AND AGROECOLOGY
Abstract
The extraction of natural resources with economic purposes has transformed the landscape and significantly reduced areas of native forests. In Paraná, the forest cover has suffered serious consequences because extraction of wood and agricultural activities inconsequential. However there are some initiatives that can generate income and quality of life for family farmers, and still preserve and restore natural resources. In the rural area of city Turvo-PR, is a Coopaflora - Agroecological Products Cooperative, Craft and Forest of city Turvo, which in partnership with the IAF - Institute Agroforestry provides to small producers in the region the opportunity to cultivate and market products sustainable ensuring income and survival of family farmers. The Coopaflora, through cooperatives and agroecology, can provide small farmers local an alternative income and survival, in this context, agroecology and cooperative manifest as conditioning elements of permanence of small family farms in the rural, through diffusion and applicability production methods, which promote and defend life in fact, in all its forms, as needed.
