Abstract
Until 1970 Foz do Iguaçu had a small urban center providing basic goods and services to its rural and urban population. However, starting in 1970 with the construction of the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant, Foz do Iguaçu has undergone numerous transformations that altered its dynamics. Among these transformations we consider the increase and improvement of the supply of goods and services to its population and cities network. Among these services, especially health services. Thus, the aim of this work is to identify and analyze the supply of health services and the use of such services by people of the cities of regional urban network of Foz do Iguaçu and the border cities of Ciudad Del Este in Paraguay and Puerto Iguazu in Argentina and the influence of these services with respect to the dynamics of the network cities.
