CONSIDERATIONS REGARDING THE CONDITIONS USED IN RESEARCH INVOLVING MASS MOVEMENT
Abstract
The Mass movements are important episodes within the dynamics of landscape evolution and when they occur in populated areas, events of great magnitude, generally cause high damage and sometimes socioeconomic environment. Processes are triggered by a series of conditions that present intrinsic and correlated, the natural order, and may be potentiated by human action. Analyzing several studies that address the issue in its various proposals, this article aims to present a table showing the main data regarding the use of variables / constraints evaluated in these studies, presenting in a systematic and organized so that the reader has a chance and more ease of acquiring information on the subject. In this perspective, besides the contributions of classical references were consulted a total of 36 surveys, including articles, theses and dissertations directed the geotechnical studies, analysis and risk management and predictive scenarios of mass movements on the slopes for development and presentation of results.
