Abstract

In the present work basil to highlight the main features environmental watershed River Cascavel (BRC) through the interaction of natural elements (climate, soil, geology, topography, hydrology and vegetation) and use and land cover. The methodological procedures adopted were: survey and analysis of bibliographic data, mapping, based on fieldwork. This unit of analysis presents various problems of a socio-environmental relationship that has both natural and anthropogenic processes, and the types of land use has boosted order hidrogeomorfológica environmental problems in the basin. The various analyzes we conclude that the knowledge of the physical characteristics of this physical drive contributes to the planning and environmental management.
