THE AGRO-ECOLOGY ALTERNATIVE FACED ON THE AGRICULTURE MODERNIZATION - A CASE REPORT IN CORONEL VIVIDA TOWN

Abstract

The agro-ecological farming has got started by social movements in favor to the rural sustainable development based on environmental, social and economic. Agroecologyis presented as an alternative to modernization of agriculture that repair environmental damage and social damage caused by the green revolution technology disseminated and adopted by the Brazilian government as a development policy based on the economic growth. This research analyzes the Agro-ecological production in the city of Coronel Vivida - PR through the study of three establishments Agro-ecological and identifies the different territorialities effected by the three farmers in relation to the organization, production and marketing in their respective establishments.
