THE TOWN SMALL OF DOIS VIZINHOS-PARANÁ AND ITS INSERTION IN THE URBAN NETWORK

Abstract

The data presented in this work are included in our doctoral thesis in geography from UFSC-Federal University of Santa Catarina. Highlighting that in our work we seek analyze the dynamics of the urban network of Francisco Beltran - Paraná, network in which it insert the center of Dois Vizinhos. This urban center is the second most dynamic of network, staying behind only Francisco Beltrão, according to REGIC (IBGE, 2008). The purpose of this article is to present the reader with an analysis of the urban-regional dynamics of two neighbors, at the same time, demonstrating how this centrality is inserted in the urban network. Remember that, we share the opinion of Professor Fresca (1990, 2000, 2001, 2009, 2010), in which only from the insertion of a given city in the urban network is that we can talk if the same is a local city, small, medium, etc. It is important to emphasize that the insertion in the urban network is analyzed from the dynamics of productive activities and that, the complexity of the network is associated with the territorial division of labor, engendered by actions, interventions and strategies of  actors economic, politicians, social, without forgetting the local elite.
