THEORETICAL INDICATIONS FOR A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE TRINOMIAL DISCOURSE-POWER-DEVELOPMENT AS PUBLIC POLICIES’ EMBASEMENT IN THE STATE OF PARANÁ

Abstract

This paper seeks to create a brief analysis on the concepts of discourse, power and development, as to put forward indications that could base the research on projects and programs of development in Paraná. We start this article by revising bibliographical sources on the concepts of discourse, culture and power, as well as the relationship that involve them. Through the discussion of these terms and the impact of their use in public policies, we seek to build a basis for thought on the concept of development. Finally, we propose a reflection on the use of these concepts in projects and justifications for economic occupation of territories in Paraná. In this paper, we sought to stablish a relationship between the aforementioned concepts that, each at its own time, have constituted the basis for the molding of political discourse in the State of Paraná, above all in what refers to economic development through its logistical network.
