THE POLARIZATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF JANDAIA DO SUL/PR IN VALE DO IVAÍ: SOME CONSIDERATIONS
Abstract
Studies on small towns in the State of Paraná has become increasingly relevant, and leads new reflections to diferente scopes of geography. Associated with this reality, the municipality of Jandaia do Sul presents itself as the locus of trade relations, taking into consideration some cities in Vale do Ivaí (PR), like Marumbi, Kaloré, Bom Sucesso and São Pedro Pedro do Ivaí, mainly by the influence that it exerts on some cities located around it. Based on this context, the analysis in question demonstrates a brief understanding of the socio-economic reality that is currently observed in the region. However, it is noted a dynamic dependency of some municipalities in Jandaia do Sul city in many aspects, both in the area of health, education, employment opportunities and even more specialized services. Therefore, it is Worth, through the evidences postulated, a reflection on the current relationships that transform and modify constantly the geographic space and the intercity relations in vale do Ivaí. In this sense, the work was crystallized with basis on the data joints and field research, along with the theoretical references that explain the urban space dynamic, being fundamental such analysis that sought to integrate the small towns in the current context of the urban network of the Paraná central north.
