GEOGRAPHY POLITICS: A LITERATURE PRODUCTION YOUR BALANCE IN CONTEMPORARY

Abstract

This article aims to survey the scientific production in international and national scenario of Political Geography field, giving priority to those who bring in their titles the word "Political Geography". The period defined for the representation of this group of works is geared for decades (1990-2014). The study allows you to check the statement of Political Geography before the geographical science and other fields of knowledge, with some indicators of works disseminated on your theme together over the years. It is noteworthy that unlike the solid international scientific production, it appears that, in Brazil, only in the last decade that this field has gained more consistent theoretical contributions in publications.
