THE HISTORIC REGISTER OF THE URBAN GULLIES IN RANCHARIA (SP)
Abstract
This article has as objective to present the history of gullies in the urban area of Rancharia through historic records and an analysis of the spatial aspects of the dynamics of these gullies and a ravine. The records of the Decade of 1950 indicate the begging and development presented against a background of lack of urban drainage system and pavements, associated with the existence of roads and paths that contributed with the incisive concentration of flows superficial. The case of the gully of the Stream Água da Lavadeira presents the headward erosion dynamics solution for implementing urban drainage works. The gully Grito’s Stream shows the case related to process of headward erosion due to rain and rainfall concentrated during the years of 1997 and 2015. The historical development of these rescue erosive forms contributes in city planning with the geographer who has knowledge of spatiality of the phenomena.
